  2. Occasionally font files and suitcases may contain extra data resources that are not a part of the font structure as a result of moving or duplicating font files.

  5. This is most often not a problem for software applications and the System, but it is recommended that the extra font data should be removed.

  8. FontDoctor will fix the fonts by removing the extraneous font data from the font file.
